Ecological Responsibility at AKW Equipment + Process Design

You cannot completely reduce your ecological footprint from one day to the next. However, small changes can already be very effective!

With the installation of our rainwater collection system few years ago, we took a significant step in the right direction. And the improvements continue!

This year, we decided to turn our lawns into flower meadows to create a new well transformed part of our working environment.

A lawn requires constant care: dozens of lawn mowing a year, ongoing weed removal, regular fertilizing and watering, … .

In order to reduce these efforts and, in return, bring advantages for bees and insects, we started to sow the flower meadow in the middle of 2019 – and the result can already be seen. Outstanding !

Let´s wait for 2020!
